The Project Facilitation Committee of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has awarded the “Automation of Domestic Industry on Open Source Systems” project for Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) sector to Acrologix.

The vision behind the project is to develop and deploy open source automated software in SME level units of PAAPAM. It would improve and accelerate the current performance of the PAAPAM. Another important factor of this project is to introduce and promote Open Source Technologies in Pakistan. It will definitely reduce the software piracy issues in Pakistan.

Business process automation modules such as;

• Accounting
• Inventory
• Production / Manufacturing
  • Job Costing
  • Material Planning
  • Work Process
• Sales
• Human Resource & Payroll

This system will be developed in Open Source Technologies and it will be compatible with the operating hardware and their software. The system will be implemented initially at 15 member units of PAAPAM.
